The DU 2000 & Beyond program has only one purpose:

du_2000_logo create financial stability for the Alumni Chapter, Alumni Corporation and Undergraduate Chapter of Delta Upsilon at Western Illinois University.

  1. Purpose
    • To improve Alumni and Undergraduate communications
    • To assist in the rising costs of recruitment/rush
    • To assist in the rising costs of maintainance of both the internal and external structure of our chapter house and property
    • To ensure that current scholarship programs remain funded
    • To set up and consistently fund new scholarship programs
    • To create an emergency savings account
    • To improve Alumni Programming
    • To better all aspects of the Delta Upsilon Western Illinois Chapter

  2. Goals and Objectives

    • To send out the Flying V at least three times per year
      • Alumni Chapter Updates
      • Alumni Corporation Updates
      • Undergraduate Chapter updates
      • DU 2000 & Beyond Program Updates
      • Brother News
      • Upcoming events (in the next 6 to 12 months)

    • To schedule family orientated events throughout the year for Alumni and Undergraduate brothers and their families and friends
      • Winter Event - DU Christmas/Holiday Gathering
      • Spring Event - DU Alumni Weekend to always be held the weekend of April 27th.
      • Summer Event - DU Family Picnic
      • Summer Event - Greek Weekend at WIU
      • Fall Event - Homecoming at WIU

    • To aid and build stronger alumni and undergraduate brother relationships

    • To assist with both Alumni and Undergraduate activities
      • Undergraduate Recruitment
      • Alumni Chapter Programing
      • Fund and Maintain Undergraduate Scholarships
        • Josephine Johnson Memorial Scholarship
        • Mathew Famighetti Memorial Scholarship
        • Clarence Johnson Memorial Scholarship

      • To Create, fund, and Maintain new undergraduate scholarships
      • Upgrade and maintain undergraduate study facilities
